Besonderheiten im going to-future

Das going to-future ist machmal auch "Ersatz" für das Present Progressive, wenn es um zukünftige Handlungen geht, die geplant sind. Steht beim going to-future noch eine Zeitangabe, dann besteht nur ein sehr geringer Unterschied zwischen beiden Sätzen.

We are watching a tennis match at 2 o'clock.
We are going to watch a tennis match at 2 o'clock.

Bei go und come wird meistens das Present Progressive anstelle des going to-future verwendet:

I am going to go to the zoo. -> I am going to the zoo.
I am going to come to the zoo. -> I am coming to the zoo.
