trouble with pronounciation

I'm still a beginner in learning englisch althoug im working very hard . I'm able to read qite well. but my pronounciation is very bad. especially words beginning by th.. like that .this and so on. my doughter is always laughing by hear me speaking. what can I do to improve my pronounciation ?

It is my favorit Dictionary. This book is very usefull an have an CD-Rom. With your computer you can hear the pronounciation. OK this book is a little bit expensiv, but in my opinion it ist an very good help to learn english.

Bye the way. This book ist only in English. You can find the english words an the meaning in simply english sentenses.

hi jeffie. dein lob tut mir natürlich gut und ich freue mich darüber. nun muß ich mal auf good old german language zurückgreifen um mich verständlich zu machen. meine tochter sagt auch, daß ich mir einen sehr großen englischen wortschatz schon angeeignet habe. was sie zum lachen bringt ist meine aussprache. das muß sich unmöglich anhören. vor allem bei den lispellauten ,wenn wörter mit th.. beginnen oder enden. bei mir kommt da immer ein s heraus. ich komm mir so richtig blöd dabei vor da ne regelrechte zungengymnastik zu betreiben, die mir auch gefühlsmäßig vollkommen gegen den strich geht. es hat also nichts mit wissen zu tun sondern rein mit der aussprachetechnik. diesbezüglich wäre ich für ein paar nützliche tips sehr dankbar.

It´s a severe winter here in Prague.

Ad idem:
I don´t have any problems with the pronunciation, but I learn to speak more quickly than I used to. I bought several shortened and simplyfied English books and I read it loudly to myself. Every language needs a different "mouth training". Sometimes it seems my tonge will be tangled up, but I think I works, I make some progress.
