essay about dollar value

hello guys,

i shall write an essay about the US dollar value and my main question is "is the US dollar value on a good way?think about the political and economic reasons."

and these are my points that i will mention:
cons:
- USA has a lot unemployment
- some enterprises broke down because of financial situation for example people are not paying their debts back because of high interest

pros:
- bush is no more president, obama tries to lead the place
- dollar is cheap which leads to good export

does someone has also some good reasons?please help and add

- some enterprises went bankrupt because of the bad financial situation with high interest rates

pros:
- Bush is not the president any more, Obama tries to run the country
- the dollar is cheap internationally which supports the export of goods

Does anybody knows some other good reasons?
Please help me and add to the list.

I think that topic can be viewed from several point of views. A low dollar value is favorable for buying US goods like you have already mentioned in your text above. On the other hand that means buying goods with dollar is unfavorable for you because you propably pay more as with other currencys that has a higher value.

The argumentation with Bush and Obama seems to me a bit reckless considering your topic. Bush sure did his part to foul up the country, but Obama will propably spend almost as much money like bush for his internal election campaigne promisses (health insurance for everyone in the USA) and of course the economy crisis which sucks up a few billion dollar as well.

On the other hand it means buying foreign goods with U.S. dollar is unfavorable for you
because you have to spent more on them.

Considering your topic the argumentation with Bush and Obama seems a bit reckless to me.
Sure, Bush did his part to ruin the situation of the country.
But Obama will probably spend almost as much money as Bush did to keep his campaign promises
(e.g. health insurance for everyone in the USA).
And of course the crisis of the economy which costs a few billion dollar too.

The last time I wrote in English was quite some time ago.
