Hi, I want to improve my English beacause I think it is necessary to speak English to have no problems in other countries. Hi, I want to improve my English because I think it is necessary to speak English well to have less problems in other countries.
But in school I often see that I have problems to speak or to write proper Englsch. My problem is that I do not really know where I should start.
The exercises are often limited and I cannot really create sentences as I'd like to. I hope you can help me and
please give me some hints so I know how I can improve my English.

I'd like to know more about the USA! At Saturday I celebrated Thanksgiving Day for the first time in my life. I know that you celebrate this day at the least Thursday in November, but wir couldn't do this, because a lot of my friends have to work on this day.

That's correct, lunanuova, it should be: I am looking for a person who writes with me in English. Or better English: I am looking for a person to write with in English.

Immer wieder gerne falsch gemacht: "to search" und "to look for". Ersteres heißt "durchsuchen" (bspw. ein Haus oder den Computer nach Dateien) und das andere ist "die Suche nach etwas".
