A typical working day

I work for a large supermarket based in Bielefeld.
In my former job I was a shop assistant for entertainment electronic.
Our discount opened about 8o’glock in the morning and closed 9o’glock
in the evening.
Since ten years I work as cashier for 33 hours at the week.
I’ve got a part-time job. One week I going into work about 9 o’clock in the morning, next week I work from 15 o’clock and finish my day around 9 o’clock in the evening.
After entering charges for all items and subtracting the value of any coupons or special discounts, cashiers total the bill and take payment. Acceptable forms of payment usually include cash, personal check, charge, and increasingly, debit cards. Cashiers must know the store's policies and procedures for accepting each type of payment the store accepts. For checks and charges, they may have to request additional identification from the customer or call in for an authorization. When the sale is complete, cashiers issue a receipt to the customer and return the appropriate change. The hours are long, if I must very concentrate work.
