Wir schreiben am Dienstag eine Arbeit unser Thema ist The American dream.
Ich hab mal so einen kleinen probe Text geschrieben, wäre lieb wenn ihr mal drüber schauen würdet.

There are many different answers to describe the American dream. The idea is shared by all Americans. Not all of them believe in it. The American is a key concept within American history, society and culture. The American dream consist of the notion that – if a person work hard, that person will achieve his or her goals and improve his or her position in life. This is the basic myth to the American dream. There are many other aspects beside this basic idea.
In the religion is America a form of a paradise where humandkind (Menschheit) could start anew and life in harmony with God and nature.
The question was discussed, how the new society and its economy should be shaped.
This was a opportunity for America. They want to correct the mistakes of the “Old World”.
The new World would be a more equalitarian and moral society. Here, people of different origions and religions would form a new classless society, which would spread democracy throughout of the entier world.
American was the “land of milk and honey” in the minds of Europe’s poor and disowned. There are abundant natural resources. America is a land with no oppressive masters or taxes.
For the politics are the American dream an idea to pursue happiness and liberty. The perople should pursue their goals with a minimum of state control.
There are many symbols which represent the American dream: the Statue of liberty and the American flag are the main symbols. This symbols characterize freedom and democracy.
But this is “the American dream” and not the real life. A lot of people feel betray, because their lifes have become “nightmares” instead of “dreams”. One of the worst national nightmares was the war of Vietnam. Because of that there are tension between dream and nightmares.
