Hallo Leute,
ich muss morgen ein Referat halten und ich habe ein kurzes Handout erstellt. Ich wollte fragen, ob ihr vielleicht irgendwelche Fehler in meinen Sätzen findet.

Roots of Hip Hop:
- Hip Hop/Rap developed because of the social and economic problems
of the US- American cities
- for many youths it was the only way to come out of criminality
- for many years hip hop has been known only in a few neighborhoods in
New York, later it spread in many areas like Detroit, Los Angeles etc.
- The different cities developed their own styles

East Coast - West Coast conflict :
- main conflict: 2Pac ( Death Row R.) vs. Biggie ( Bad Boy R.)
- also fans from both scenes were included in the “war”
- it ended with the death of both rappers

Difference between Hip Hop 1980 and 2000:
- 1980s fashion : wide clothes, tracksuits and sneakers
- fashion in 2000: more chavvy clothes and accessories
- 1980s rap: background music / beat not very strong (aggressive)
- rap in 2000: beat is in the foreground, stronger and cleaner sound
