There you go, Loni. Why are you not happy about going to London?ilomi hat geschrieben:Hi Keswick and good evening!
Thank you for the answers ! Sorry, I was at work in the office all week last week and did not have the time to learn English. But now to answer your questions: Yes, I was to Coventry with my boyfriend last year. My boyfriend's parents live in Coventry. We went on excursions from Coventry to Blackpool, Bimingham, Warwick Castle and Warwickshire. The holiday last year was beautiful. This year we are going to London for our holiday and I am not so happy.
Bye, and have a good weekend! Loni

Hi Keswick and thank you!
I`m so very very happy wen we going to London in the holliday..... Sorry for the mistake, I am and I have the words confound in this batch.
Bye Loni
PS. Ich hab die Wörter wohl verwechselt und da ist eine falscher Satz daraus geworden. Ich freu mich natürlich ganz doll auf London!!! Ich komme auch manchmal nicht so mit der Grammatik klar. Da muss ich noch üben....

Good evening
Thank you keswick for your correction.
In maybe two years I want to go to New Zealand for a backpacking trip, you know this art of travel? I hope this plan will work, because of my job. It isn't very easy to say to your boss: In two years I want to go to New Zealand for maybe 6-12 months
Ah and in two weeks I will write my first English test about the British monarchy. On one hand it seems to be very interesting for me to learn those things about England but on the other hand history questions like "what do you think are the pros and cons arguments forward and against the monarchy? or would you prefer an president or an monarch..?" is not really my kind of thing. Now I will learn mathematics...
Where are you from?
Greetings Anna

Re: Where are you from?
My boss would lauugh into my face if I told him that I want to go travelling to New Zealand for 6-12 months. Not a chance! But maybe you'll be lucky, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
I think the topic for your first English test sounds interesting! Good luck with it !
I live in the Northeast of England, but I was born in Franconia, Germany.

Re: Where are you from?
Hi,
yes it sounds great travelling for a longer time to New Zealand. I wish you also good luck that you get the permission from your boss to do this journey.
You have told that you are currently reading the book "about a boy" ---is it good and interesting to read? i've never read a book in english but perhaps i should do it as well.
Bye, have a nice day
Kim

I preferred the book "About a Boy" over the film to be honest.

Re: Where are you from?
Hello, everyone!
I am 18 and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. (USA) I've come to improve my German and help German-speakers improve their English. I've taken German for four years in high school and I've just started my first year in college. I visit Koeln about a year ago and that was really fun.
Feel free to ask me questions and stuff! I'm not sure if a lot of people here know or care anything about American English, but it's a little different from the British. I'll probably be asking plenty of questions about German, as well.

Re: Where are you from?
Hi Folks. Im the newbie here . First I want to tell you something about my small live. Im 19 years old and I go to the School.
I was born in Bavaria but when I was 12 years old we moved to Hamburg. I chanched maybe 5 or 6 times the School, because we are often moved.
Now I am going to the Wirtschafts Gymnasium, I do not know how it is called in English .
My hobbies are playing Street-Basketball, swimming, cycling and so on. Also meet friends
I am not as well like my classmates, because of this i want to improve my English. Of Course, for myself.
I watch some movies in English, for example: Scrubs, the Simpsons , it is not a really movie but funny.
On Thursday I have an exam in Spanish.
That´s it.
If there are some mistakes, please correct
