Showtime...

hello to everyone!

I´m new in this forum, joined yesterday and read through the topics for a while. I´m German and
mainly I work as a comedian and host in German Varieté theatres and mixed shows.
More and more I get requests for english spoken shows.
As we all know, humor is hard to translate, but my main goal is to be able to host shows without the intention of being `extra funny`.

So, for the new year I thought, come on give it a try and go a step ahead with your English.

I´m grateful for any suggestions. Nice one liners, bizzare stories,...maybe somebody wants to write her/his favorite joke in English...I can try to help with German, although I´m not a teacher.
