Thank you again
I know I make some mistakes.
I'm sure we will find many people if someone starts "oral activity" (It sounds strange ).

Re: Let's practise English
Has anyone an idee how to practise pronunciation and comprehension?
I know, to watch english dvd's or listen to english radio stations is good to practise english, but I'm often realy overextended when I have to speak.
:/
Any idea?

Re: Let's practise English
Hi Silvestergirly
I also want to improve my english, and I read english or american newspapers in the internet like "New York Times" or "The Guardian". When I don't understand some words or phrases, I copy them and took them into the google translator There, you can klick a button to hear how to pronounce it!

But it's not the best way to learn english. Write, for example: "virtual machines improve our lives". Now click and listen Sounds strange, doesn't it?
PS: I watch a lot of english videos, reports and documentarys in english. This way is much better to learn how to pronunciate it.
Every corrected word will help me!

Re: Let's practise English
Looking at all these posts - may I suggest you pay a bit more attention on your use of basic English spelling.
You should all know that English is written with a capital E, American with a capital A, German with a capital G etc.
Therefore, I'd like to ask you all to take the time to proof read your on posts as described in the forum rules
you agreed to.

I know about watching English DVDs or listening to English radio stations,
and that those activities are good to improve one's English listening comprehension.
But I'm often really overextended when I have to speak.
What is your problem - pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar or all of these?
:/
Any ideas?
use less commas and proper names...Xoowoodo hat geschrieben:Hi Silvestergirly,

Some of your mistakes are rather basic. So I think, proofreading your writings might be a good start.ichhalt123 hat geschrieben:Hi,
