With reference to your advertisement in the Daily Telegraph of 19 July 2004,
I would like to apply for the position of a teacher for Spanish and Italian.

I have just completed my studies in Spanish and Italian at one of the best universities of Germany. In addition, I could already gain work experience in Italy during two semesters.

The reason for this application is, that I would like to gain more work experience abroad.
I am particularly interested in this job because it is a challenge for me to teach young people in a foreign country.

Because not only I am enthusiastic about the modern languages, also other young people,
I would like to pass my knowledge on as a teacher. I would describe myself as a social person because I am understanding, patient, self-confident, conscientious and also very resilient and open.

As well as speaking fluent English, Spanish and Italian, I have a working knowledge of Russian. My mother tongue is of course German. I hope my qualifications are convincing to employ me for this demanding task.
