Hallo Tinibini
Alles Liebe,
Manhattan

hey Trinibini
I hope I can help you ... here are some important contents of a report in english.
First you have to give an introduction
for example:
The aim/purpose of this report is to ...
This report sets out to ...
Then you should give findings
for example:
My research into ... found ...
... clearly shows that ...
It became clear that ...
After that, you should draw a conclusion
for example:
On balance, ...
It was concluded/decided that ...
No conclusion were reached regarding the ...
and at last you have to give recommendations
for example:
We advice you to ...
It is recommended / suggested that ...
To keep an interesting report going you can use the following useful phrases:
Contrasting ideas like, However, although, despite/in spite of, while/whereas ...
Linking cause and effekt like, because of, as a result of, this means, therefore ...
Summary like To summarise, in summary
Comparing ideas like, both/neither, like/unlike, in comparison (with), more/less ...
Adding ideas like, furthermore, moreover, in addition, as well as, also ...
This is also a part of my forthcoming Cambridge exam.
Hope this helps you!
All the best
Sandi
