mache gerade ein praktikum und darf, dank meines englisch abis :? , nun einen text über migration übersetzen... vielleicht kann ja mal jemand, der etwas plan, hat sich die sache mal anschauen und gegebenfalls korrigieren?... das wär nämlich supiiiiii....


Migration not only between the states of the EU, but also from other countries into the Eu, is just in the old as in the new member states of the EU a growing phenomenon.
Migration can support economic dynamic, strenghten global competition abilyty, younger aging societies and form intercultural competences. It works positiv, if it succeeds to integrate newcomers and convert them into active and accepted fellow-citizens of the new society. Without bridges of information betwwen old and new inhabitants, suitable intercultural qualification offers and social integration activities, the potentials of integration stay nearly unused and chances change to risk and refusal.

It works positive, if it succeeds to integrate newcomers and convert them into active and accepted fellow-citizens of the new society. Without bridges of information between old and new inhabitants, suitable intercultural qualification offers and social integration activities, the potentials of integration stay nearly unused and chances change to risk and refusal.
The aim of this project is the encouragement of integration as a result of active dealing with the media TV. Therefor multicultural video initiatives are created in several European countries, which acquire the technical ability to produce a video report.

2. Aim and methods

The EU enlargement 2004-05-01 involves worries about risks of growing immigration. The old EU members fear for the increasing immigration of the poor new member states, the new member states feel the pressure on their own new frontiers and at the same time the member of refugees from third countries near Europe is growing.
The fear for risks and a policy of separation are barriers between the chance and the utility of immigration. The efforts of immigration often remain too slight or pick up only vocational aspects and neglect the important process of social integration. That’s the point where the project needs to strengthen the topics migration, interculturality and integration in a positive way.

-Media responsibility: now the media TV has become a routing medium in all European states. Routing via TV brings policy, culture and entertainment to nearly every European flat. The point of view of the people are influenced by the big telestations. The topic migration is in almost every broadcast station obviously underdeveloped. The majority of immigration occurs in a negative context in TV reports. This is proved by many research reports. Sustainable information policy is barely supported by national telestations. There are only a few programs offered including the target group of migrants and enlightening about their new home. Dealing with the media TV should qualify the project members not only to understand the information structures, but also to demand and support specifically new ways.

-Video education: the project shall promote active handling with the TV as guiding media by suitable measures (seminars, trainings, projects). The active discussion about the development and the requirements of video and television productions educates the participants on a technical scale and supports their communicative competency. Since video as visual media is also in relation to linguistic difficulties successful appliable and active appropriable, therefor it is especially qualified for intercultural projects. The building of video productions requests multiplex know-how. Consequently project members are not only qualified in a social admitted, but also in an occupational attractive area.

- European TV magazine: the obtainment of knowledge about media competency and video production is not an end in itself but should lead to new basic approaches in the TV coverage to the topic of “migration and integration”.
