Bitte Korrektur meiner Bewerbung!

Hi Leute,

habe vor, ab Sommer für 5 Monate nach Kanda zu gehen. Jetzt hat mir die Organisation 3 Seiten zum Ausfüllen geschickt, auf Englisch!
Könnt ihr mir das bitte mal grob korrigieren?

Vorher möchte ich gerne nochmal wissen:

1. bei "Date of Birth" kann ich da schreiben: 26th of February in 1989?
2.bei "Religion" kann ich da protestant für evangelisch sagen?
3.was meinen die mit grade? klasse oder note?
weil vorher nach der schule gefragt wurde, denke ich eher, dass die klasse gemeint ist!also 10 class, oder schriebt man das anders?


so jetzt die 3 fragen, soviel platz war da nicht, also hab ich auch nicht so viel dazu geschrieben!


1. What do you know about your host country?Maybe you have seen or read a

What kind of expectations do you have? Do you think that there will be
differences between your life here and overseas?


I’ve read the generally information about Canada and know that:
-it is the second largest country after Russia,
-it has about 32 million inhabitants
-the languages are English and France (only in Quebec)
-it’s a parliamentary democracy and the official head of state is the British Queen Elizabeth II
-a lot of famous people e.g. Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne or Pamela Anderson are Canadian
-since the 1990s a lot of Asians immigrated in Vancouver and Toronto and know there are strong ethic minorities
and so on and so on…

I think living in a host family is a new experience and it will influence my thinking about different things; Mostly it will be great - I hope so – but sometimes there will be problems with the family members or something else. The family and me must be frank with each other for preventing problems.
I have been for three weeks in Great Britain last year. It was a very good experience even if wasn´t so nice, because the family only saw the money and so they didn’t take pains. But we could manage the three weeks and all in all I had a nice time.
I think there will be bid differences between life here and there, because of the other every day life and the other culture, which depends on the country and the family.
I will have to do more things on my own, but that’s no problem for me!

2. At your high school, you may be asked to report something about your home
country. Your hostfamily is also curious to learn something about
germany.what would you tell them?


I would tell them that Germany is a lovely country with the North and the Baltic Sea in the North and the mountains in the South. Also that it has 82 million inhabitants by about 357.000 square kilometres.
Also something about the policy for example, that the capital city and the seat of the government is Berlin and now we have for the first time a woman as head of the state (Angela Merkel) and that we have a problem with the rate of unemployment.
Further I would tell them something about the culture, that means about the favourite food or the sights and the favourite sport kind football. But also I will give these people information about the education in Germany. I wouldn’t forget telling them something about famous German persons like Karl Marx, Albert Einstein and famous athletes and singers.

3.In your opinion, which characteristics does a high school student have to
posses to have a successful stay?

I think the person must be interested to get to know other students and another every day life at school. Further it might be good if the person isn’t shy and approaches other students. But he or she must also have the wish and the aim to extend their knowledge and must be determined to manage problems at school with the teacher, other students or the family. The high school student must be disposed to new things and people, that also includes different points of view.

ich habe die vok. aber bestimmt teils falsch gebraucht-> habe bestimmte Ausdrücke nämlich oft nachgeschlagen!

dachte man könnte mir nur so das grobe korrigieren....

das ist noch nicht sicher...

ich hab di auch noch ein vorstellungsgespräch und da muss ich die unterlagen mit hinbringen..

...was die im einzelnen bewirken, weiß ich nicht...

die organisation ist Ist, falls du die kennst...


es geht mir ja auch nur um das gröbste....so kleinigkeiten sind ja, denke ich, kein problem!
