This movie shows a portrait of the punk-scene in the DDR. You can see the situation of young persons, who were influenced by the stasi. In 1982 the 17 years old girl Nele who lives in west-Berlin, visits the east part, because of her grandmothers burial. There she meets the punk captain and his group. It is love at the first sight. Some weeks later Nele visits a concert of captains punkrock-band. During the concert the young persons destroy the camera of the ZDF-reporter because they believed he was a member of the stasi. Therefore captain and his friends make their own movie about the life in east berlin and their opinon of west berlin. Nele shall take it with her over the frontier to west berlin. But now they have a lot of political and emotional problems. Captain is inerrogate by the stasi and his group is distrustfull against Nele because the movie show the as Nazi´s and young persons who often drink very mutch alcohol. in addition the stasi has search the (Proberaum) and found lyrics and arrest nele. She has to go back to west berlin. She find out that captain is arrested. Nele want to help him and drive with a ship to east berlin. There she try to speak with the police but nele sould go. Back to berlin it seems captain is dead. 7 years later after the fall of the berlin wall nele visit the new berlin and find aut that captain live and search him...
I´choose this movie because it shows the situation in the DDR. i´m interested in more than other films because the artists are young persons. In addition the music is very important past of the film and underlined special scenes. This movie consits of typical contents whitch apele to the young persons Musik and Lovestory
