Hello Franzi,

My name is Ralf and i´m 38. Well, english i had learned at school 20 years ago. My bussiness is going to go more and more international, so i have to improve my english.
I will go to an internsiv Class by Berlitz soon. I hope so, that i can learn a lot of new words, grammar and pronunciation.

Why do you need english? For bussines or a holliday?

Ralf
Please, feel free to correct all my mistakes. Thanks

Yes, I think so too. It is funny. But unfortunately (I love this word *smile*) there are not that many people talking all the time... :(

Hi guys

I'm amazed that so many "old" people want to learn english. I always thought the older generation isn't that interested in learning english. But apparently I have mistakend it. So what are you guys doing for a living? I'm assuming you need to learn english for you work or is it just curiosity? If you want to improve you english skills then that's the right place doin' it. So have fun and write back

Hi Franzi,

then I'm pacified that you aren't angry with me. At least somebody. Just kidding. By the way "grufti" means "old fogey" in english. You are very hard-working. I like that. Are you speaking french fluently? Unfortunately I don't speak french for my life. But I'll learn spanish. And currently I'm living in the States to improve my english and I think it's ok now. Are you only learn english in this forum or are you also doing a course?
