Actually it wasn't a question.
And it's not
"i'm looking forward to hearing from you"
It's either
"i'm looking forward to hear from you"
or
"I look forward to hearing from you"
Because you can use only once the "ing" form
That's what I learnt and what I just asked my hostdad and he lives in the states and so do I.

Hey Kleine,
Sorry, I know it's a tricky subject:
"to look forward to" is one of the many phrasal verbs in English in which an adverbial particle (forward) as well as a preposition (to) is combined with the stem verb to signify a particular meaning. What we are looking forward to can be exemplified as either as a noun phrase or as a verb-phrase with an -ing pattern.
