Hi All,
I have a sentence here:
With all people interacting face to face, they will get instant response from each other, 'resulting in' more effective communication.
Can I use 'results in' instead of 'resulting in'? What is the difference?
Thanks
Result in or resulting in?

No, you can't, at least not without changing the sentence structure.
The above sentence uses a present participle in order to avoid a relative clause. The result is a so-called reduced relative clause.
If you wanted to use a relative clause, it would probably have to be something like this:
... which would lead to/result in / leads to/results in more effective communication.
Have a nice week!
