2 Klausurfehler!

I have mentioned that I wrote an English exam. Now I have got it back.

Here are two mistakes which I made and I don't know what is wrong with my sentences:

1. A 'cold-blooded' murderer does not speak with his victim, too.

I don't know what is wrong with that. I could guess that it has to be "either". But why?

2. I wrote:
Probably the people in the wilderness, which Montag encounters in the end of the book, ...

what is wrong with "which"?

I think it has to be "at the end". But why? The end is meant in a temporal way. Please see: http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/board/ftopic1407.html

either ist richtig, da es (zusemmenen mit dem "does not") im Sinne von "auch nicht" gebraucht wird. Das ist sicherlich keine tolle wissenschaftliche Erklärung, aber vielleicht hilft es.

which wird in der Regel nicht für Personen genutzt, hier gehört who hin.

At the end ist richtig, dass kann ich aber nur aus dem Gefühl heraus sagen. Übrigens, schau mal in Google:

"at the end of the book" 1.260.000 Treffer
"in the end of the book" 20.800 Treffer
