This is the first year that none of my patients wanted to stay up to see the fireworks....
well... my working colleague and I had a good time on our own... (or is it better to say : ...good time all by ourselves???)

So you visited my site again? Well, the pictures there are already "old" now! I've got some new pictures. Will scan them tomorrow....

At the moment I'm learning a little bit English. The tenses always have been a problem for me.... I mean... "present progressive" and all that - I can't keep the "names" of the tenses in mind...

Hey Nynaeve!

Now, finally, some more news...... haven't been at work for quite a while....
Last week I was very busy helping a friend of mine with moving to her new house.... just we to girls, a transport-van and a lot of boxes and furnitures... horrible!!!! My back was aching for days!!!!!
The rest of the week I spend together with her on a shopping trip... she needed everything... cooker, washing mashin, dishwasher, fridge,etc..... and she has no car, so I was her chauffeur...
At the weekend we cleaned up the old appartment....
And in between all that I searched for the right birthday present for my little friend, who turned 5 years on Friday.... the party was Saturday... my only quiet and relaxing day that week... I bought her a pink ballerina outfit... body, tutu, tights and shoes... wow, she looks so cute in it.... and she liked it a lot.... think it was her favorite present....

And now I actually need a vacation because I feel a little bit exhausted... but unfortunatelly I have to work a lot and there is a lot to do at work... (o.k., now I'm fishing for some sympathy... )

Haven't started with Spanish yet... shame on me... but I was to tired... and the weather isn't exactly lifting my motivation... it is raining, raining, raining... oh yeah... and the wind is howling, howling, howling.... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....... and because I live far north, it is dark, dark, dark....

O.K. enough wailing!!!! You must think that I live a terrible life right now.... but I don't!!!

So, how are you?? Had a second thought about the school thing??

Hallo!

Ohhhh, poor girl!! I hope, you had a little time to relax!?!

The present for your "little friend".... haha, that sounds cute! She'll probably become a ballerina one day!

At the moment it's raining here, too - the best weather to stay at home and learn.... SPANISH, haha! No... Well, I learnt a little bit English and French this week... maths, too.

And that leads to something else: "Abitur"... No time for a second thought about it , I went to the school on Tuesday (Jan, 17th) and a teacher told me everything that's important for me.... First he said that I could start in August this year... BUT there's the chance to start on Feb, 1st and do the 11th grade in a half year. My marks from secondary school were good, so he offered me this alternative. I took the registration form, went home and knew what I wanted.... So on Thursday morning my announcement was in the letterbox!!

I really hope that I can start on Feb, 1st. That would be great. The earlier I start, the earlier I finish... 2, 5 years is ok, I think.
Not tooo long!

I'm very happy about my decision. I know, it WILL be hard but it's good for me. That's what I think. The best friend of my friend (male, what else did you expect... tsss....) just said: "WHY? You don't need it."
Men.... For me it's a little bit of an "ego-booster", too! If everything works, I will be proud of myself.

Ok, enough now.... I'll wait for a letter from the school...


What else.... Oh, I've got problems with my printer. Yellow... but no blue and no magenta?! It's a new colour cartridge!! Aaargh....

Ok, I've got some things to do.... haven't had much time this week:

Monday: went to my mother after work (birthday)
Tuesday: went to school after work and visited Markus' mother
Wednesday: went home after work (17.30) and did some housework
Thursday: worked until 17.30, went home and at 20.00 we went to "Casa" with two of our friends

And this evening we will drive to Bochum and visist the "Eisregen"-concert... one of my favourite bands. AND tomorrow we'll visit two of our friends and watch 2 or 3 Harry Potter-films. MONDAY it's my boyfriend's birthday and we'll receive visitors.... OMG.... It seems like I have YOUR stress now!?

Ok, have to do my workout now and must learn a little bit... Hope, that I didn't bore you with the school-thing!!! But at the moment that's important for me...

Well... about the pictures... I scanned two today and posted them. They're not very new AND not very good. I really must find the time to draw another one...

Well, I wish you a very nice weekend and hope to "read" from you soon!(Did I tell you that I wrote to two girls from England who were looking for pen friends? But they didn't answer.... :( )

Was at IKEA this week..... playing chauffeur for my friend again... and I was absolutely determined not to buy anything!!! Yeah.... good intention is sometimes not enough.... maybe I should have left my purse at home... :P It's just impossible for me to left this shop without buying something...... sometimes just a candle, serviettes, or, in this case, some plants..... but it HAS TO BE something..... :roll:
And I have to eat a Hot Dog after shopping.... IKEA Hot Dogs are the most discusting wiener you can find...... but I have to eat them... :eat: :rolleyes:

How was your Harry Potter night??? And by the way.... did you see the last Potter movie at the theatre?? Did you like it? I think with every new episode it's getting more and more worse.....

First of all: Hello pakii! I hope you found a little help on this forum!? My English isn't perfect, but if you have any questions, I will try to help...
Some days ago I started with "evening school" (Abitur), so I have English lessons now again - had the first lesson on Thursday and I LOVED it! (But this can change... I think it WILL ).

Yes, I'm still alive! But I didn't use our computer for a few days....
AND I started with evening school on Wednesday...
Ok, on Wednesday we didn't really have lessons, of course... We just introduced ourselves and our class teacher told us a lot about the school and blah-blah...
My schedule:

Mon 19.15 - 22.15 (2 lessons English, 2 lessons Maths)
Tues 17.30 - 22.15 (2 lessons History, 2 English, 2 Biology)
Wed 17.30 - 20.40 (2 German, 2 Maths)
Thur 17.30 - 22.15 (2 Maths, 2 German, 2 English)

Will be hard, especially Thursdays: Work until 17.00 o'clock and drive directly to school..... until 22.15.....

Oh, but now to your questions (Sorry, but had to tell you about school first - important thing for me at the moment!):

IKEA... We've got an IKEA in Siegen, too. Will see it every day I drive to school, haha! Ummm, most people at work don't like IKEA.... I think, they've got some nice stuff there... But was there just once - we don't need new furniture at the moment... :spin:

Oh, it wasn't really a Harry Potter-night! We just watched H.P. and the Philosopher's Stone (and I'm reading it at the moment - in English). But I liked it! My friend (Karin) said, every new episode is better than the first one.... well, she means, with every new episode it's getting better! And your opinion is, it's getting worse.... :lol:
I think, I'll make my own experiences, haha... But it's a matter of taste!

Ok, I have a little bit more to tell, but we must leave now: bowling!! :prost:

I make some progress with archery.... it's getting better and better!!! :freu: Got a huge complement from my trainer today.... yeahhhh!! I was flattered!!! :D

This is my last night after ------no, I don't remember how many nights I worked now..... every time I was supposed to have free, one of my colleagues got sick and I had to replace them... usually we can order in nurses from an extern agency... but right now we have 3 patients who are in very bad conditions... and we are very specialised here... so there has to be nurses at nightshift, who really know what they are doing.... :(
BUT..... NOW... FINALLY..... 2 nights off waiting for me!!!!!!! And I already told my boss that it's no use to call me..... I switch off my cellphone as soon as I leave this place in a couple of hours!!! :jo: :lol:

But back here at the weekend... so hopefully I find your reply here on Friday... :)

Well,... sitting in classroom... what can I say about this? Most of the time it's boring, of course, but there are some lessons, wich are interesting, too. Latin, Arts & Maths are my most liked lessons...(lesson... is that right?)... !!! subjekt!!!! now i' ve got the corect word!?

We are going to write a test at english on friday, so i have to say good bye to you...

In my opinion it's a big difference between having to be in school and wanting to be in school.... you haven't finished school yet..... Nynaeve has finished school a time ago, so she is in the classroom now, because she wants to.... don't think that she is boared there....
And you like Latin??? WOW.... I hated it!!!! Math was not one of my favorites either.... and btw ... I was very boared most of my schooltime, too......
How did your Englishtest went on Friday??
