Ich hätte da mal ein paar Fragen.....

Benutze ich "small" oder "short", wenn ich die Körpergröße einer Person beschreiben will?

Ich dachte immer ich wüsste es....bin aber bei längerem Nachdenken echt ins Schleudern gekommen.

Und wenn ich sagen will, dass jemand dünn ist.... ist "thin" richtig oder "slim"?
Und dick ist doch "fat", oder ?

Wäre nett, wenn ihr mir das beantworten könntet.

Hmm, nicht einfach, ich hab mal das Oxford Wörterbuch konsultiert, um dir eine profunde Antwort geben zu können:

Small is the most usual opposite of big or large, especially with the following nouns:
~ number
~ group
~ children (small means young here)
~ business
~ house
=> Small kann also nicht für die Körpergröße verwendet werden.

Short
2 (of a person) small in height.
=> Das ist richtig


Thin
2 (of a person or part of the body) (sometimes disapproving) not fat, not covered with much flesh
=> Ebenfalls richtig

Slim
1 (approving) (of a person) thin, in a way that is attractive
=> Richtig, wenn man Gefallen ausdrücken will


Fat
1 (of a person's or an animal's body) having too much flesh on it and weighing too much

Fat is the most common and direct word, but it is not polite to say to someone that they are fat. Overweight is a more neutral word ("I'm a bit overweight"). Large or heavy is less offensive than fat.
=> Man kann es also sagen wenn man über eine Person spricht, sollte aber lieber die anderen Wörter nehmen, wenn man zu einer Person spricht.
