Wie werden Kurzformen und Langformen im Simple Present verwendet?
Im gesprochenen Englisch werden Hilfsverben häufig als Kurzformen verwendet. Da das Simple Present mit einem Vollverb gebildet wird, treten hier Kurzformen nur bei Verneinungen auf.
