Die Wortstellung in englischen Fragen – Kurzübersicht

1. Die Entscheidungsfragen mit be (am, are, is)

Eine Frage, auf die man mit Ja oder Nein antworten kann, nennt man Entscheidungsfrage.

In Entscheidungsfragen mit dem Verb to be sind – wie im Deutschen – Subjekt (subject) und Verb (verb) vertauscht.

  Deutsch Englisch
Satz:  Du bist aus Deutschland. You are from Germany.
Frage: Bist du aus Deutschland? Are you from Germany?

2. Fragen mit Fragewörtern mit be (am, are, is)
