ich hab wieder einmal eine Frage…

Ich habe mir letzte Woche das Neue Album von EMINEM gekauft und seit dem studiere ich die Songtexte.
Ein Song heißt „You’re never over“ – mit dem stehe ich ziemlich auf Kriegsfuß.

Das ist der Songtext, ich habe Kurzformen wie z.B ain’t, tryna, Imma usw. entfernt.
Ich verstehe fast jedes Wort, aber ich peile den Zusammenhang nicht.
Alles was ich Fett geschrieben habe verstehe ich nicht.

Ich weiß nicht ob der Lyrik zu 100 % stimmt, ich habe ihn aus dem Internet.

Ich hoffe es findet sich jemand der mit das übersetzten kann bzw. sich die Zeit dafür nimmt. Ich habe schon in sehr viele Wörterbücher nachgeguckt (dict.cc, urbandictionary.com, …) konnte aber nichts finden

Wäre jedenfalls einfacher zu verstehen.
Du weißt ja bereits, dass ich keine Ahnung von HipHop usw. an sich habe. Deshalb habe ich auch nur ganz oberflächlich nachgeschaut, die genannten Namen haben alle etwas mit der Scene zu tun, Proof war ein Freund, der erschossen worden ist, Dre ist ein Produzent, der ein Stück oder was namens "Phantom" produziert hat, Bologna ein Rapperkollege oder Konkurrent, don't know.

Ich übernehme keine Gewähr, bin noch nicht einmal immer sicher, dass die Vorlage genau stimmt, aber die grobe Richtung ist wohl klar. Er vermisst seinen Freund Proof unglaublich, dem er Vieles, Alles zu verdanken hat, er wird - ihm zu Ehren - alles geben, um ein toller Rapper zu sein. Er wird sich nicht umbringen, sondern seine Pflichten auf der Erde erledigen und Proof ist der beste Schutzengel, den man haben kann.

Werde mir das Ding gelegentlich mal anhören.

Sorry, aber ich musste diesen alten Threat wieder ausgraben..
Ich bin ein großer Eminem-Fan. Seine Lyrics sind einerseits einfach der Hammer andererseits einfach zu hoch für mich. Deshalb habe ich mir gedacht, ich stell einfach die unklaren Stellen hier rein und vielleicht findet sich jemand der sie mir erklären kann.

Ich vermute, dass window pane/pain einfach ein geniales Wortspiel ist. Oder?

Das check ich gar nicht. Wortspiel mit Zähne und fillings/feelings?

Ich kenne die Redewendung “to raise the roof”, aber wie ist das hier gemeint?

Das ist nur eine kleine Auswahl.
Nummer 1 ist aus dem Song "Love The Way You Lie", 2 und 3 aus "Not Afraid", 4, 5 und 6 aus dem Track "Richard", 7 und 8 von "All She Wrote" und 9 aus "Space Bound".
Wie Ihr seht, sind das nur 5 Songs, aber es gibt duzende Songs und noch viel mehr Frage, doch viele Songs sind auch sehr vulgär.

Würde mich über eine Antwort freuen.

Nummer 1: Ja, das Wortspiel zielt auf pain ab.

Nummer zwei: Da hast du den Text nicht korrekt, er singt tatsächlich:

Sinngemäß: Du hast behauptet du wärst ein König, das war eine dreiste Lüge, dafür: scheiß auf deine Gefühle, statt gekrönt zu werden wirst du verspottet/erschossen(?).

Redewendung: "lie through one's teeth" = dreist lügen

be/get capped: Umgangssprachlich kenne ich das als erschießen bzw. erschossen werden. Es wird aber auch als sich über jemanden lustig machen benutzt. Falls das noch andere Bedeutungen hat, dann sind mir diese nicht bekannt.

Nummer 3: Das kann ich nicht genau sagen. Raise the roof kann mehrere Dinge bedeuten, unter anderem "das Niveau erhöhen" und ähnliches. Um das genau zu verstehen müsste man wohl den Text komplett interpretieren.

Nummer 4: Beats me. Ike ist ein Name, worauf der sich dort bezieht kann ich dir nicht sagen.

Nummer 5: Look fly - heißt so viel wie "cool aussehen".
Die zweite Zeile ist enthält eine :censored: Anspielung. Peter ist einer der vielen Euphemismen für das männliche Geschlechtsorgan und dyke heißt Lesbe.

Nummer 6: Ja

Nummer 7: Wenn du auf dye/die anspielst, dann ja.

Nummer 8: kann ich nur mit diesem kurzen Textstück nichts zu sagen.

Nummer 9: Nein, wenn du "love" rückwärts buchstabierst "evol" und dieses Wort aussprichst, dann klingt es bei vielen wie "evil", deshalb love = evil

Solche Textstellen ergeben gelegentlich keinen Sinn, wenn man sie isoliert vom Rest des Textes betrachtet.

Scheint ja, als ob ich mit meinen Vermutungen oftmals gar nicht so falsch lag.

Bei Nummer zwei hab ich noch einen Fehler gefunden. Im Booklet zur CD stehen die Lyrics drinnen und da steht:

You said you was King, you lied through you teeth
For that f-ck you fillings, instead of getting crowned you're getting capped

Das heißt, das ist ein Wortspiel mit Zähnen?

Du sagtest du wärst König, das was eine dreiste Lüge/du hast du die Zähne gelogen.
Aber scheiß mal auf die Füllung/Gefühle, anstatt gekrönt zu werden wirst du erschossen/anstatt überkront zu werden, wirst du überkront
(damit ist die Krone beim Zahnarzt gemeint)


Nummer drei hab ich jetzt auch gecheckt.

Er sagt lediglich, dass Er mit dem "roof" das Gleiche macht wie mit seiner Tochter. Er "raiset" sie.


Bei Nummer sieben hab ich auch noch was entdeckt.

Fritos sind Kartoffelchips und Eminem sagt, dass sie sich die kaufen soll, weil Er sie nicht den Chip von seiner Schulter essen lässt. Wenn Er "einen Chip auf seiner Schulter hat", also to have a chip on one's shoulder, ist Er in einer reizbaren Stimmung. Sie sollt Ihn deshalb in Ruhe lassen und am besten verschwinden. - Darum geht es ja im ganzen Song.


Den Rest werd ich auch noch herausfinden.

Hätte ich bei Nummer fünf gewusst, dass "peter" auch ein Vulgärausdruck ist, hätte ich das Beispiel natürlich reingestellt.
Mir war klar das "feel like I might die from a spider bite", "Come back as Spider-Man" und "Park my Peter" eine Anspielung auf Peter Parker, der im Comic von einer Spinne gebissen wurde und danach zu Spider-Man wurde. "looking fly tonight" ist ein nettes Wortspiel, weil es anscheinend so viel heißt, wie "cool aussehen", aber gleichzeitig sind Fliegen auch das Leibgericht einer Spinne.

Leider ist bei Rap oft das Problem, dass er, aufgrund der benutzen Sprache, gleich als Mist abgestempelt wird und die Kunst total ignoriert.
