Habe nun mal nachgesehen, "fungi" ist der Oberbegriff, umfasst alle Pilzartigen, von denen "mushroom" aber nur eine Untergruppe ist.That's right Duckduck.Fungi with caps and stems are mushrooms. We do tend to say 'mushroom picking' saying 'fungi picking' makes one sound rather clueless and less knowlegable
