The word order in your sentence was wrong and should have been "Or does ... exist in English".
Yeah ...
I've gone through a fiew examples for English questions in my mind and have noticed the wrong word order.
I mean ...
I have to say (for instance) "Does he like shoes?" and not "Does he shoes like?" [There again ... "Does shoes he like?" Master Yoda would've said, wouldn't he? ...*grins*]
And, although I agree with Duckduck in that I also woud use "Is there ..." , the phrase "Does ... exist?" is used in English as well.
Yeah ... I know.
But I always use "does exist" in the wrong context ... I still have to develop a better feeling for this language. >.<

Hihihihi,

wo ich gerade dieses Zitat lese: ich habe mal in einem Radiointerview eine unglaubliche Falschübersetzung dieses Satzes gehört:
Der Übersetzer meinte:
"Am 4. Mai werden wir bei Euch sein."

Nach der durch langes. heftiges Lachen hervorgerufenen Ohnmacht erklärte ich meinen Mit-Zuhörern, wie er darauf gekommen sein muss:
"May the fourth we'll be with you..."

Höhöhöhö

Yeah ... I know ... few. XD Where did this "i" come from? x]

But ...

Why do I have to use simple past instead of present perfect? Oo
"Am 4. Mai werden wir bei Euch sein."
XDD

You used two main clauses (complex sentence).
I superimpose on your second sentence the subject ("I"). I assume you know the word order generally (Subject Verb Object).

"You went through a few examples..."
As you can see I marked with different colours. I would use simple past because you described a process. (It seems so)
You went through some examples in your mind and afterwards you noticed some of your common mistakes (wrong word order).
According to this sequence I would use simple past rather than present perfect . But I do not mean to offend you.

No, you misunderstood.
I wanted to say that I am well aware of the fact that "few" is written without "i". *laughs* It was a rhetorical question. ;)

Yeah, I know the word order. ^^

You didn't offend me. I was only curious. ;)
Thanks for the explanation.

Upps, I did not get it. :)

Just a short question:
What do you try to express with the massive usage of dots?

Uhm ... Hesitation ... Insecurity ... Something like that, I guess. *grins*

I hope the dots are not bothering you. ^^
