Hilft Übersetzen???

Ich würde gerne mal wissen ob es hilft,wenn ich mir einen kleinen deutschen Text aus dem INternet oder aus einem Buch nehme und ihn dann probiere ins Englische zu übersetzen.

Lernt man was dadurch???

Hi Bigdog,

In principle it is a good idea to translate German texts or single sentences into English, but remember that English grammar is sometimes completely different from the German one. And, above all, you shouldn't translate literally (i.e. word by word) since the English has the SVO word order.

Even so, go ahead and feel free to post your results.
