Also wir haben die Aufgabe bekommen einen Comment zu schreiben und zwar zu der Frage :

- Do you think that the American Dream is still alive today ?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For most Americans give the American Dream the motivation and incentive for actions and the manual of life.
Everyone have his own definition of ,,American Dream''. Some think about freedom ,equality and the dream to live a full life other associate with American Dream to get from a lower class fame and fortune and reach a higher class .
As you can see the definition are quiet various and dependent from everyone .
But one thing of all is always the same to realise the aim and to make your dreams come true. Many people think America is the gate for a succesful life with the chance to get easily luxus and a well-being but behind that are hard working . You have to make sacrifices in your life to reach them . It's not so easy than people think.
Of course the USA is a highly developed country of economic with advantages and in contrary than a developing country or a country with strong bureaucracy a better chance to make your dreams come true .
However these facts alone aren't a guarantee for a fine life. You only have a better view for the future.
To live the American Dream today is often wishful thinking ,because the time have changed.
And there are one other negative aspect . Most people only have to realise their own dreams and think of but oneself. In following the USA has become a wastful consumer society of lonely individuals.
In my opinion the main thought of the American Dream to make your dreams come true is right and can be reality with hard working.

and others associate with the "American Dream" the chance to leave their lower class and reach a higher class with fame and fortune.

Many people think America is the key to a successful life with the chance to get rich easily and live a luxurious life. but the secret of such success is hard work.

In my opinion, the main idea of the American Dream is to make your dreams come true which is all right and can become reality by / through hard work.
