Ihr habt mich wirklich bis jetzt geholfen, damit ich die Briefe besser schreiben kann. Kannst Du bitte noch ein “Order“ Brief korrigieren.

Situation:
You are an electronics company and, further to their offer of electrical switches, you wish to place an order of 20, 000. However their prices are too high, other suppliers quoting an average of 10 % lower. Due to the high quality of their switches (seen in the sample switches sent) you will place your order, if they are prepared to reduce their prices by 5 %. You have to keep your own prices low, due to competition.

On the one hand other supplier in Germany who offer their electrical switches quoting an average of 10% lower. On the other hand your prices are high.

We have seen in the sample switches which you have sent on 10 May 2005. Because to the high quality of your switches, we would like to order by you.

Please let us know if you can reduce your prices by 5%. We have to keep our prices low, due to competition.
