And she can sing love that song . It's right what you say, about people naturally thinking " very smart! must be a man", how sad is that then? . I'm ashamed of myself how dare I, never again, slap me face

Hello Duckduck!
I'm sorry! You are very nice, helpful and polite. That's why I thought, you were a charming man. It's really interesting.
With best Wishes,
Chloe

Re: Where are you from?
Hi!
I am from Thuringia and want to improve my English!
I haven't been very good in this subject in school and my brain isn't the best
in saving any vocabularies. Also grammar isn't that easy for me.
But I think it is time to get better and so I hope that forum will help me!
Actually I'd wanted to improve my speaking until I noticed how bad
my knowledge is^^

Hey Eigy, let's face it: You're fishing for compliments, right?! Because your English isn't bad at all. It's really good, actually. But there's always room for improvement for all of us, so: good idea to join us and have fun.Eigy hat geschrieben:Hi! Hi Eigy and welcome!

English wasn't my stongest subject in school and my brain doesn't seem to be well adapted for remembering words. Also grammar isn't that easy for me.

Actually I'd planned to improve my speaking until I noticed how bad
my knowledge is^^
Do you need English for your job?
Cheers

Re: Where are you from?
No I havn't been expecting any compliments ^^ because I think my could be better after 8 years of learning it. Mh, may some pieces of sentences I've written aren't so bad but I really have problems to find the right words in quick situations, e.g. talking with someone.
No but I planned to improve it for my study and I want to be prepared perhaps for a semester abroad.Do you need English for your job?

Re: Re:
Hey, can you tell me something about Croatia? Next week, I have to make the decision if my class trip will go to Croatia or if I will rather visit the Toscana. I think both travel destinations sound good and I will have a great time, no matter which place I decide for. Nevertheless, it would be very kind of you if you tell me something about your experiences, what is the wheather like, are there any clubs ect.?Melina hat geschrieben:MRVICCA hat geschrieben:Hello, everybody.howare you?what a wonderful day here in Croatia!!!

Re: Where are you from?
Hey...
I´m just from Germany which isn´t as nearly as interesting as being from nice sunny countries far away....where I´d like to be right now...it´s raining all the day...Well, I just thought it would be nice to introduce myself (I`m new) and to talk in English a bit...I think it could be useful for school And I apologize for my mistakes
So...Hello everyone!

Re: Where are you from?
Hello I'm also from Germany but from the south near Switzerland (15min. away from Basel).
I'm learning english and I try to use every minute to speak it, because I'm going to do my FCE (First Certification in English).
I'm looking for some english people to write emails or something to improve my english.

Re: Where are you from?
No no, but a friend saw her running into the hospital with the gun in her hand.
He was there because his wife was pregnant and she got her baby in this hospital.
It's very crazy, for about 2 month ago I was also there because my daughter had problems with her lungs.

Re: Where are you from?
1 - You're very confident In case you just wanted to say "Ich möchte" it should have been "want to".kölscheklüngel hat geschrieben:Hello together,

Du bist sehr zuversichtlich Falls es nur "Ich möchte" sein sollte, hättest du "want to" benutzen müssen.
2 - In English the names of all languages and countries are treated as names in all positions and always capitalized.
Auf Englisch werden alle Namen von Sprachen und Ländern an allen Stellen als Namen betrachtet und immer groß geschrieben.
