And she can sing :freu: love that song . It's right what you say, about people naturally thinking " very smart! must be a man", how sad is that then? :(. I'm ashamed of myself :jo: how dare I, never again, slap me face

Hi!

I am from Thuringia and want to improve my English!

I haven't been very good in this subject in school and my brain isn't the best

in saving any vocabularies. Also grammar isn't that easy for me.

But I think it is time to get better and so I hope that forum will help me!

Actually I'd wanted to improve my speaking until I noticed how bad

my knowledge is^^

Hey Eigy, let's face it: You're fishing for compliments, right?! :big_thumb: Because your English isn't bad at all. It's really good, actually. But there's always room for improvement for all of us, so: good idea to join us and have fun.

Do you need English for your job?

Cheers

No I havn't been expecting any compliments ^^ because I think my could be better after 8 years of learning it. Mh, may some pieces of sentences I've written aren't so bad but I really have problems to find the right words in quick situations, e.g. talking with someone.
Do you need English for your job?
No but I planned to improve it for my study and I want to be prepared perhaps for a semester abroad.

Hey, can you tell me something about Croatia? Next week, I have to make the decision if my class trip will go to Croatia or if I will rather visit the Toscana. I think both travel destinations sound good and I will have a great time, no matter which place I decide for. Nevertheless, it would be very kind of you if you tell me something about your experiences, what is the wheather like, are there any clubs ect.?

Best wishes :)

Hey...
I´m just from Germany which isn´t as nearly as interesting as being from nice sunny countries far away....where I´d like to be right now...it´s raining all the day...Well, I just thought it would be nice to introduce myself (I`m new) and to talk in English a bit...I think it could be useful for school ;) And I apologize for my mistakes ;)
So...Hello everyone! :)

Hello I'm also from Germany but from the south near Switzerland (15min. away from Basel).
I'm learning english and I try to use every minute to speak it, because I'm going to do my FCE (First Certification in English).

I'm looking for some english people to write emails or something to improve my english.

No no, but a friend saw her running into the hospital with the gun in her hand.
He was there because his wife was pregnant and she got her baby in this hospital.

It's very crazy, for about 2 month ago I was also there because my daughter had problems with her lungs.

1 - You're very confident :) In case you just wanted to say "Ich möchte" it should have been "want to".
Du bist sehr zuversichtlich :) Falls es nur "Ich möchte" sein sollte, hättest du "want to" benutzen müssen.

2 - In English the names of all languages and countries are treated as names in all positions and always capitalized.
Auf Englisch werden alle Namen von Sprachen und Ländern an allen Stellen als Namen betrachtet und immer groß geschrieben.
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
MistakeSuggestionYou sure that's right?
