My name is Rachel. I'm 18 years old and live in northeastern America, where we have cold winters and hot summers, and the most beautiful Autumns of all. As you might guess, my native language is English. I'm studying German at my University and hoping to minor in it. I would like to possibly go study at Universität Trier for a semester in a few years. My major is going to be either chemistry, environmental science, or both... I haven't decided yet. I'm very curious about all things European, but especially about Dutch and German.

Anyway, I'm fully open to helping with English. Ich spreche und schreibe Englisch sehr gut.

We are trying to help each other to improve our English skills.

I think most of the registered users are from Germany or
other European countries.
So you could easily find a partner for a language tandem
or for communication in English only...

I thought that it would be fun to use my English skills to help other learners, and, in return, to perhaps improve my German, so I searched for a forum with such qualifications via Google. Most other forums I find consist primarily of German learners, as opposed to native speakers. This way I'll be able to give back to the community.

Ich bin immer noch lernen, so mein Deutsch ist nicht die beste... aber ich habe eine wirklich gute Professorin, und sie sagt, dass ich wunderschön in meinem Tagebuch schreibe.
