Ich (17 Jahre) gehe in ein Gymnasium in der Nähe von München und besuche mittlerweile die 12.Klasse und habe Englisch als eines meiner Leistungskurse gewählt.
Mir ist jetzt aufgefallen, dass ich deutliche Schwächen im Bereich der Grammatik und des Wortschatzes besitze, ganz besonders im Bereich Übersetzung, und möchte mich so gut wie möglich verbessern! Ich habe English genommen, weil mich die Sprache sehr interessiert und fasziniert. Für meinen Traumjob brauche ich sie auf jedenfall.
Ich werde meinen Anfangsthread immer wieder editieren um somit neue Übungen reinzustellen, macht die ganze Sache etwas übersichtlicher, finde ich
ABER: Ich zwinge und verlange von keinem hier meine Texte zu korrigieren, aber wenn ihr grad mal Zeit und Lust auf einpaar Korrekturen habt, würde mich das sehr freuen! THX in advance !

Übung 1)
Ich habe den Text ''The Flash of Fireflies'' von Nadine Gordimer (1923) sorgfältig durchgelesen und unbekannte Wörter im Dictionnary nachgeschaut. Ich habe dann versucht, mit den unbekannten Wörtern einen eigenen Text zu verfassen, damit ich mir diese Wörter besser einprägen kann. Diese Art von Lernmethode ist mir bisher noch sehr unbekannt, aber Probieren kann ja nicht schaden
Hier ist mein selbstgeschriebener Text! Beinhaltet unlogische Sinnabschnitte, wollte nur Grammatik und Vokabeln üben! Vieles macht keinen Sinn, aber ich möchte nur wissen, ob alles grammatikalisch korrekt ist. Hier sind die Vokabeln, die ich versucht habe einzubauen :

It is always entertaining to refer to rare and mysterious animals during a post-mortem (Soll Besprechung bedeuten, aber auch ''Nach dem Tode'', was hier nicht passen würde...) if your conversation partner is a child, but it becomes tougher every time if you want to find a new species for discussion since nothing really is still living on unmolested. But it is clear that whatever animal we are talking about, every one of them had learned a skilful way of surviving in this world. Scientists are still unsure about the creation of living beings, and simply cannot but argue that things have just cropped up. Ancient philosophers have practiced bizarre forms of religion to find the reason of life. But none of them succeeded.
It is a fact that human beings have overrun this planet and inevitably the world is falling apart. The seriousness of this topic cannot be compared to those recent incidents such as the financial crisis of our own world, the human world, and definitely deserves more than just a shoptalk. Recurrent issues such as the global warming, death rate of children or dying forests are results of our ridiculous behavior. Our goal of netting the world is archived thanks to technological improvements, but within our deepest minds, we are not connected at all. Hopelessly blunted by greed and satisfaction, we cannot see the splendid world around us and separate aberration from normality. We are no longer capable of thinking, it seems our brains have been stuffed with foam and debris and clumsiness has its inherent roots in every one of us. The curse of humanity is slowly approaching us…
First attempts at getting away from this bewildering chaos are never easy, but in order to do that, you need to identify the concealed evil which is hiding behind the bellowing wilderness of humanity.
The stricter you are with your own discipline, the wider your freedom will be afterwards.
