Hello
Hei,
I am Michael, 26 years old and I live in Ennigerloh (Northrine Westphalia).
I*m working as a chemical laboratory assistant in a pharma company and I need English every day (chemical test methods in english, international clients).
I have finished school many years ago but I want to emigrate to Norway in a few years and I have to ameliorate my English.
I can advise me without problems but I have to work on my grammar!
So I started to make the "Cambridge certificate in advanced english" a few days ago.
Hobbies: My to kitten Felis and Sinna, drums, guitar, norwegian.

Hei,
Yes, I am learning norwegian as well since about a year.
I took different courses but I didn*t found any with my level.
So I decided to learn norwegian on my own with books and to study english "by the way".
I like Norway because the country is beautiful, you can earn much more money and I have friends there. My sister lives in Oslo..
And I like to go fishing .

Sounds good to me. My sister learnt Norwegian from books and films! She has two friends in Norway and she's quite fluent in Norwegian now. You're right you earn more money in Norway but don't forget that Norway is an expensive country. But I am sure your sister will help you if you decide to move there. Good luck !dagget666 hat geschrieben:Hei,

PS: The only thing I can say is "Jeg snakker ikke Norge" .. if that is correct at all .

Hei,
thanks! I have to practice the grammatical stuff..
Norway is really expensive but you can earn thrice more money in your job.
So it doesn*t matter that stuff like meat or alcohol is more expensive.
So, my turn :
Norge = Norway
norsk = Norwegian
"Jeg snakker ikke norsk" ("I don*t speak norwegian")
"Jeg snakker ingen norsk" ("I speak no norwegian")

"As established by law and governmental policy, there are two official forms of written Norwegian – Bokmål (literally "book language") and Nynorsk (literally "new Norwegian"). The Norwegian Language Council recommends the terms "Norwegian Bokmål" and "Norwegian Nynorsk" in English.
There is no officially sanctioned standard of spoken Norwegian, and most Norwegians speak their own dialect in all circumstances. The sociolect of the urban upper and middle class in East Norway, upon which Bokmål is primarily based, can be regarded as a de facto spoken standard for Bokmål. This so-called standard østnorsk ("Standard Eastern Norwegian") is the form generally taught to foreign students.
From the 16th to the 19th centuries, Danish was the standard written language of Norway."

I am about 3-4 times per year in Oslo and I have some friends there.
I know that they have to pay much more for rent and other stuff but I even know that they earn much more money than my friends in Germany with the same profession.
Here can you find examples for every job, I am sorry but it is in Norwegian.
edit
So, I am "Chemielaborant".
"Gjennomsnittslønn i industrien er om lag 325.000.- kroner året."
(Average income in the industry is about 325.000 kroner per year).
325.000 / 8 (Kroner to Euro) / 12 = 3385 Euro
And that*s just industry, no pharma or research.
The difference to Germany is: You will earn most time more than scale of charges (?) because they need imperative people!

Just found... I am sorry but can you speak German?
