Beitrag von Derya83 »

Hi, for my A-level examen i have to answer this question:
Talk about the differences between the quality papers and tabloids!?

And another question is:
Can you mention some English/German languages quality papers as well as tabloids?

My answer to this question will be
Englisch Quality Papers
-Washington Post
-USA tODAY
- New York Times

Englisch taploids
-daily express
-the sun
-daily mirror

German quality papers
-standard
-salzburger nachrichten

german tabloids
-bild
-krone zeitung

Is this a correct answer??

But what should i answer to the first question?? It would be nice, if somebody could help me!

Thanks!

"Standard" and "Krone" are austrian newspapers too.
To answer the first question it might be useful to buy the "Bild" and the "Sueddeutsche" and compare them....

It seems I am the only one who is surprised about the topic of this thread (and similar ones).
The first post shows that someone actually knows the tasks of an A-level exam in detail
before the exam took place. Is this a normal situation in Germany?

I guess everybody knows about the importance of final grades for the chances later in life.
Therefore it is not really fair that some kids have such an unusual advantage. Right?

Although it seems to be a good way of improving the average grade within a class or within an entire school compared to other parts of Germany. (PISA...) :D

Good luck with your exams...
