present and past tenses

Beitrag von lucy silvas »

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe jetzt gerade ein paar Aufgaben gelöst und weiss nicht ob sie richtig sind, denn ich habe keine Lösungen dazu...ich wäre froh, wenn mir jemand sagen könnte ob sie richtig oder falsch sind?

Present continous or present simple?

Hurry up! Everybody is waiting (wait) for you.

We usally grow (grow) vegetables in our garden but this year we are not growing (grow) any.

Where are your parents living ( your parents / live) ?

What is your father doing ( your father / do)? He is an architect but he id not working at the moment.

Don`t put the dictionary away. I am using (use) it.

Present perfect or past simple?

Your car looks very clean. Have you washed ( you / wash) it?

George was not (not be) very well last week.

Molly lives in Dublin. She has lived (live) there all her live.

Did you go (you / go) to the cinema last week?

My grandfather died 30 years ago. I never have met (never / meet) him.

A: Is your father at home? -B: No, he has gone (go) out.

A: When exactly did he go ( he / go) out?-B: About ten minutes ago.

A: How long have you lived (you / live) there? -B: (For) five years.

Ich freue mich über Antworten.. :wink1:

Almost all correct! Well done! Now that you are learning the past and perfect, don't forget to brush up on your irregular verbs.
