Indirekte Rede ....

Beitrag von Baba »

Hallo.

My sister tells me, " I have got a good report"
My sister tells me that she gets a good report?

Irgendwie kann das doch nicht stimmen, oder?

The boss says, " On Saturday you will have to come in."
The boss says that I have to come in on saturday.

"Dont go out so often", father tells me.
Faher tells me not to go out so often. Rischtisch?

The stewardess told us, "fasten your seatbelts and stop smoking"

The stewardess told us to fasten our seatbelts and to stop smoking?

Ist der so richtig? Nun, was anderes.

The stewardess told us to fasten our seatbelts and to stop smoking?

das klingt gut "
The stewardess told us to fasten our seatbelts and stop smoking?" klingt auch gut. umgangssprächlich braucht man keine zweite "zu".

hier benutzt du die indirekte rede.
also, wenn du einen satz so anfängst:

she told us....
she tells us...

bleibt alles beim alten.

My sister tells me, " I have got a good report"
My sister tells me that she got a good report.

und im past:

my sister told me that she had gotten a good report.

The boss says, " On Saturday you will have to come in."
The boss says that I will have to come in on saturday.

un im past:

The boss said that I would have to come in on saturday.

"Dont go out so often", (my) father tells me.
(My) faher tells me not to go out so often
jep ;) *good*

Noch was wichtiges.

The boss asked his employee, “ Will you be able to finish these papaers till the end of the month?

The boss asked his empolyee if he was able to finish these papers till the end of the month.

Ist das so richtig? Kann ich das will einfach weglassen? Denn aus will wird doch would und das passt nicht!

edit: Mhh.. ich glaub ich alles vergessen. Will = Would... zählt das would als "vergangenheit von will" und wird doch gesetzt?

Also
The boss asked his empolyee if he would be able to finish these paper till the end of the monto.
