Hey guys,

How do you feel, if someone call you insane dude, or anything else bad?

Is it annoying?

I think it depends on the context. Insane is sometimes used as an American slang. It is not intended to be mean or angry. When used as a slang it is sort of like saying someone is either really good or very daring.

i.e. If I were to say of Jimi Hendrix - "That guy is an insane guitar player!" It is just like saying "He is amazing!" only maybe a little more emphatic.

Again: I think it depends on the context. Sometimes people use insane as an insulting word but not many people that I know of.

The people shown in the movie Jackass are insane dudes.
In this context insane dudes means they act a little crazy... :)

So the first thing you should do is try to figure out
if that expression was really meant as an insult. :watch:

Then you can try to find the reason for this insult
(depending on the relation to that person)
or you can just walk away,
when you think verbal communication won't help ... ;)

The ethic of reciprocity or the Golden Rule is a fundamental moral value:
"Don't do to others what you don't want done to you too."
"Act only on a maxim which can at the same time become a universal law."
"What goes around comes around."
...

You were offended. Do you really want that other person to feel the same?
It would only increase the tension between you and that
won't help you to solve the initial problem between you two...
...is supplied without liability.

In my opinion, its depends on many things ...... if this is a strange person we can ignore :out: . If there is your friends who don't like you, you can suggest he/she giving the reasons or thinking careful before saying something. and may be he/she's just joking if there is your close friend.
