Warum Englisch?

Warum wollen die Deutsche Englisch lernen? ich besuchte nicht Deutschland, aber in der Nähe. Meine Freunde sagte zu mich daß jede Deutsche können Englisch sprechen. Stimmt? Warum?

Ich will daß jeden NUR Deutsch sprechen... ich haße Englisch

because english got very important. Not only because of the globalisation. In the internet English is very usefull to find some things.

Why do you think that english is bad?
To me english is very important and I seize every moment where I can improve my english, if it's on the internet or with my friends. We sometimes use english sentences when we're speaking german, for example "i don't know", "never mind", "it doesn't matter" or other sentences and so we're trying to improve our english. but that's just from my point of view with the circle of friends i have. I don't know how it is with the other germans. Anyway, i'm quite motivated to improve my english everyday because i like english very much.

I'm not particularly sure why I'm starting to hate English. I was born in the USA, and I'm a native English speaker. I think that in cause of everyone learning english all over the world, all the other languages begin to fade.

I understand the importance of needing English to browse the Internet. I wish that the internet was equally multilingual.

Hi,

I think the most here learn English because they need it for their job, school or for other things. For me for example I need English in everyday life. I living at a students residental accommodation with more then 300 people from around the world. Most of them indeed speak German, but partially pretty bad. So to communicate or socialize English is often the only way to do that.
