There still something more I would like to add. If I remember rightly, many Russians have considered the Ukrainians nothing more but "little Russians (Rutherians)" and their language just a dialect of theirs, and some have even gone that far by claiming the Ukrainians to have stolen the mutual cultural cradle, Kiew, from them on Ukraine´s declaration of independence and entering into the GUS in the early 1990s.Culturist hat geschrieben:If you are (dead) serious about that, then no thanks because there is no really (current) need for it. And if indeed I am ever to date any more Eastern European women at all again, then they will certainly be any gentle Poles. After all, who else but if not they will, of course, then be the most likely to help me in improving my Polish? Apart from that, in the western region of Ukraine, where the country borders with Poland, there´s still a considerable Polish-speaking minority even today, people would certainly understand me if I spoke Polish there, and they would certainly not bother except if I spoke Russian, which I don´t know, nor will I probably ever feel urged to change anything about that.Galochka hat geschrieben:How can you say that?/How dare you to say that? Now, after knowing me, you will (, of course,) have to learn Ukrainian!

Actually, I would have liked this conversation to be over, but one last time for today, I will reply and correct your mistakes. Precisely due to what you wrote above, I wished Russia had not belonged to Europe (at any time).Galochka hat geschrieben:Of course! You are right about Russia, we have a lot of problems with that country because it still has this complex of being the "big empire" and "older brother"!/...because of its (still) inherent complex of being...
