hey

I am almost a new menber of this Forum and I want to practise my English skills with you guys. I am 16 years old and at the moment I am in texas. I am a student of an sistercity excahnge program. I will come back to germany in July next year and hope that my english will improve more and more everyday. When I left Germany my Grammar and Vocabulary was really bad, I doubt myself to be perfect in Englisch in couple of months, but hey i noticed that practising english is a really excellent way to learn a new language or almost new. My grammar is getting better from day to day and since two weeks I dream regulary and think in English. That's so amazing.

@kate:
You have no idea how much I envy you. One year, wow. That'd be a big dream.
So it must be 3 months now, right? (I don't whether this sentence is correct.)
And, what's it like?

Homework? I don't envy you for that, especially not for history. How is it with the subject matters (also Lernstoff), is it equal? Will you get problems with your exam?

yeah, it's pritty much equal, but i think I will get some problems in Anatomy And Physiology, but most of the tests are multiple Choice, so I am not really worried about that. :D they are coming up in almost 3 weeks..

Hey boys and girls,

what´s up? I just got on this page and I was thinking that I could write a few
sentences. Maybe I can find a person who feels the same. After the week off
(the Christmas week). I can not be bothered to do anything at all for my school. I regularly go to school but afterwards I am very lazy. I only do my homework. But actually who cares, as long as I can follow at school. Their will be the time, where I am going to spend more time, as normally.

Does anybody have the same problem?

Have a nice time

and take care
lets have a chat

Hi.

Yes, I nearly have the same problem. I will have to write the exams of my Abitur this month. Last week I learned a lot. But yesterday and today I could not bother to do anything. Unfortunately...
If you have to leave I wish that you would just leave...

But I think at least as important as learn English is practising it by speaking and writing. I think it is not so important that every sentence is 100 percent without mistakes. It is more important that we use the grammar and vocabulary which we've learnt. In my opinion the internet offers many great opportunities to use English like Chats, Message Groups, email-lists, seaching for penpals and so on. That's my point of view. What do you think?

Hi Bene!
I think it is beautifull if you open a new forum.
I can go to GB and take my order for meal or dress.
Everyone can understand me, but I will not that I can not speak really English.

Best regards

1 - Passiv, wird gebildet mit einer Form von be und dem Past Participle des Verbs.

2 - Present Perfect, wird gebildet mit einer Form von have und dem Past Participle des Verbs.

3 - Satzstellung von Adverbialen am Satzende: Ort vor Zeitraum

4 - "These" und "couple of" passen nicht zusammen, denn "these" ist Plural und "couple" ist Singular.

@Kathy84
You're never too old to learn something stupid.
MistakeSuggestionYou sure that's right?
