Thank you again :D

I know I make some mistakes.

I'm sure we will find many people if someone starts "oral activity" (It sounds strange :P).

Has anyone an idee how to practise pronunciation and comprehension?

I know, to watch english dvd's or listen to english radio stations is good to practise english, but I'm often realy overextended when I have to speak.

:/

Any idea?

Hi Silvestergirly :freu:

I also want to improve my english, and I read english or american newspapers in the internet like "New York Times" or "The Guardian". When I don't understand some words or phrases, I copy them and took them into the google translator :D There, you can klick a button to hear how to pronounce it! :D

But it's not the best way to learn english. Write, for example: "virtual machines improve our lives". Now click and listen :) Sounds strange, doesn't it?

PS: I watch a lot of english videos, reports and documentarys in english. This way is much better to learn how to pronunciate it.
Every corrected word will help me!

Looking at all these posts - may I suggest you pay a bit more attention on your use of basic English spelling.
You should all know that English is written with a capital E, American with a capital A, German with a capital G etc.
Therefore, I'd like to ask you all to take the time to proof read your on posts as described in the forum rules
you agreed to.

I know about watching English DVDs or listening to English radio stations,
and that those activities are good to improve one's English listening comprehension.

But I'm often really overextended when I have to speak.
What is your problem - pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar or all of these?

:/

Any ideas?

When I come across a word or phrase I don't understand
I copy and paste them into Google Translate. :D
There
you can click a button to hear how it is pronounced! :D
use less commas and proper names...

Some of your mistakes are rather basic. So I think, proofreading your writings might be a good start.

Good luck and have fun...
