Oh, I hope the bad weather will pass you by very fast!
I have never heard of Alcudia, and I have never been to Majorca either.
But I would really like to go there one day, because it always sounds good!
Have a nice holiday there :)

@ Delfino:
Oh yes, right. Sorry, I didn't notice it before.
Since when have you been living there and when will you return to Germany?
(You have been living in Germany before, haven't you?) Yes.

I've been living here since autumn 2009, and I'll probably return next year.

@ tiorthan:
Oh, that's how it is. Then I wish you a nice week and try to relax a bit. :)

I also came for 1 year, but then I got a job.
You know, the elusive first job after graduation.
I actually started to work 1 - 2 month before the graduation ceremony
and I'm not in a hurry to go back. I'll stay longer, if I get another job ... :D

Hi George!

I appreciate your efforts for English Language. Nobody is perfect in English not even Americans. They commit mistakes as well while speaking. The only way to get excel in this language is speak more and more.

@Delfino:

Why did you write the sentences: I'll have to write...

Warum "will +have" hätte nicht nur "will" gereicht?

"have to" = müssen.

I will write an exam next summer. -> Ich werde nächsten Sommer eine Prüfung schreiben.

I will have to write an exam next summer. -> Ich werde nächsten Sommer eine Prüfung schreiben müssen.

Hi Chiara!

I Welcome you in this Forum. You are absolutely correct that it's a little bit difficult to learn grammar than speak. What do I think is English is language of less rules and more exceptions. If you have any idea that how can we practice more?

Dear John,

Without any intention to be rude, I have to say that for the fact that you state English as your mothertongue, this text of yours contains an awful lot of mistakes. Were you in a hurry when you wrote it? Can you please pay more attention to detail, even if you're in a hurry? While I appreciate that we all make mistakes, your post contains more mistakes than a native speaker in such kind of forum should make.

Kind regards,
Keswick
