@faruk84
Hey faruk84! Do you want to cheat on your wife?
You said you have a wife and even a daughter!

Sorry faruk84! I didn't see that KJ at the end of you posting!

Anyway

I can imagine a long distance relationship. But I don't know how long it lasts!
Because you don't meet your partner very often and I actually don't want a girlfriend that I see that seldom.
I want a partner I can spend time with!

David

No idea what the kj at the end of your posting means but I am wondering.. does this forum look like a dating service? :|

@Keswick

He meant JK , I guess. And think you know that "JK" means "just kidding".

Anyways.

And I don't know what you mean by "dating service"? :denk:
I don't think that this is about dating. It's about whether you can imagin a long distance relationships.

When someone is writing things like "I am looking for a long distance relationship .. " and furthermore mentions what he is interested in, it means to me that he is looking for a date.. hence dating service. Maybe he was only joking, fair enough, did not come across for me though.

Good thing we have the young and modern among us. I could never have guessed that kj was meant to be jk. I checked it and found "kilojoule" - and this made me wonder (once again) when I had actually stopped understanding the language youngsters like to speak. But now I'm happy again...for the time being, that is... :chief:

Hey everyone!

Good thing we have older and outdated among us who give me opportunitys to air my knowledge.

:watch: The text above is no offense! I - might - chose the wrong words! :denk:

Anyways - Let's recur to the subject.

I have nothing against long distance relationships, I find it good  if two people love each other so much that they even live in different countrys. And though they don't meet often, they hopefully confide and are involved with each other without distrusting or being jealous.

Peace :jump1:
David!

Duckduck, has anyone ever called you "outdated" before? It was the first time for me... . But no worries, David, no offense taken :big_thumb: . I found it rather funny.

Hey everybody!

Outdated was the wrong word, I guess - ich meinte eigentlich nicht mehr auf den neuesten Stand was Jugendsprache angeht!

I hope Duckduck will take offence at that either!

Peace!

:read:

Aber: no offense taken, I'm sure! :spin:

Alles Liebe, mein Lieber

Hallo Duckduck!

Denn das I hope Duckduck will take offence at that either! war eigentlich absichtlich und die Erlärung dafür ist simple.

A: "I don't like snow."
B: "I don't like it either." ODER
"Neither do I."

So, ...
What do you think about long distance relationships?

Peace!
David

Well I think I mentioned it before but I would not want a long distance relationship. I want the man I love to be close to me, to have the chance to see whenever I want. My husband's working shifts and every fortnight he works late shift, that means he starts at 3 p.m. and finishes at 11 p.m. - that means for me I do not get to see him. Because I am at work when he leaves for work and I am asleep when he gets back (that's around midnight then). I hate those weeks and so I think a long distance relationship would not be the right thing for me.
