es geht um die frage: was kann man selbst zum umweltschutz beitragen?

meine antwort:
Everybody can do something for the environment. One thing you can do is to use the public transport or go on foot for short distances instead of going by car. Another thing is that you are looking after products with recycable packaging. When you make a picnic in a park for example you have to take your waste with you at home and don't leave in the park. At home you can do it in your rubbish.

aber warum kann ich nicht sagen:

und ich habe gelernt, dass öffentliche transportmittel auf englisch public transport heißt. so steht's auch im wörterbuch.

und warum darf man nicht sagen:
waste with you at home and don't leave it in the park. ?

Kannst Du auch sagen. Walk und take the car hört sich für mich nur etwas flüssiger an.

Public transportation...mmmh...wird eher in den USA gesagt. In UK ist Deins richtig.

Ich bin im Erklären der Grammatik miserabel, Sorry.
Aber man kann entweder sagen: Take the waste with you.
oder
Take the waste TO your house.

Ich will dich mit meinen Behelfserklärungen nicht weiter verwirren.
Vielleicht kann ja ein Lehrer verständlich aufklären...Meldet Euch!!!

nun versteh ich noch nicht so recht:
do it in the rubbish bin
oder
put it in the rubbish bin

hab jetzt noch im wörterbuch gelesen.
to bin = in den mülleimer werfen.
gilt das generell oder nur für B.E?

kann ich dann sagen: at home you can bin it.

oder gibt es was besseres für: Zu hause kannst du es in den Mülleimer werfen?

ich würd sagen

at home you can through it in the garbage or back home you can through it in the garbage...

ich hab mir jetzt das ganze nicht durchgelesen, meinte aber schnell überflogen zu haben, dass jemand back home geschrieben hat. also dann je nach dem hernehmen.
