Revision of Tenses – Present – Past – Future
A) Present Tense – Fill in the correct Form (s/c)

You’d better take an umbrella. It (rain) is raining.
Oliver can’t come at the moment. He (do) is doing his homework.
My son (read) reads three or four books every month.
Sorry. Mum. I can’t answer the phone. I (wash) am washing my hair.
What (they, do) are do they do in the evenings? – They (watch) watch TV or read.
Where’s Jane? She (have) is having a bath.
The earth (move) moves around the sun.
In winter I (go) am going by bus, in summer I (walk) am walking.
How often (you, go) do you go to the theatre?
Mother is in the kitchen. She (prepare) is preparing lunch.
Listen! Sheila (play) is playing the piano. She (play) plays piano very well.
What (this, word) mean) does this word mean?
Mr. Green (cut) cuts the lawn every Sunday.
The water (boil) is boiling do you want another cup of tea?
Look, the bus (come) is coming.

B) Past tense – Fill in the correct form (s/c)

I (swim) was swimming in the sea when the accident happened.
What (you, do) were you doing in the garage on April 5, 6 p.m.?
I (watch) watched TV every evening last week.
As he (cross) was crossing the street, he was run over by lorry.
He (come) came to see me whenever he (need money) needed money.
My tooth (break) broke when I (eat) was eating a nut.
Where (you, buy) did you buying this flight jacket?
While she (set) was setting the table he (read) was reading The Times.
My grandfather (play) played tennis until he was seventy.
(you, play) Did you play football as boy?
When (you, see) did you see your cousin?
Last week I (go) went out for a meal three times.
What (you, do) did you do at seven last night?
Peter (be, born) was born in London all these years ago.
When we (arrive) arrived, they (sit in the garden) were sitting in the garden.

C) Future. will - going to – present continuous - simple present

I thin (rain) it will rain tomorrow.
The next train (leave) leaves at 4 p.m.
(you, visit) Are you going to visit your cousin Marita at the weekend?
(you, visit) your cousin Marita? Are you going to visit your cousin Marita.
It is raining. I will take my umbrella.
Look at this cheap pullover! I will buy it.
I do hope that the Duke (come) will come back from his grave.
The bus (arrive) will arrive in two hours time.
He (be) will be 22 next week.
I am afraid Maria (not, come) won’t come.
(you, play) Are you going to play golf on Saturday?
I am sure that he (like) will like the arrangements.
I don’t think I (recognize) will recognize him.
They (travel) are going to travel to Scotland this summer.

:spin: und schon mal vielen Dank!!

I think (rain) it will rain tomorrow.

Sieht doch gut aus \o/ =)

Thanks for help!
Fahrplan, Programm.
Also müsste man hiersimple present nehmen und dann heißt es:
The bus arrives in two ours.

"The bus arrives in two hours."
