Hi everyone! I'm Catherine from Down Under,
I'm from Tasmania, and for those who don't know, it's an island below mainland Australia. In other words, just below Melbourne across Bass Straight. I recently had a german exchange student stay with me and we made sure to tell her that just because she came to an island meant that she still got the "Aussie experience". You'll probably find more wild, native animals here than on the mainland, especially if you go to Sydney or Melbourne. Tassie is the "natural" state and we have heaps of wallabies, kangaroos, and platypus'. If you want to know more go to http://www.discovertasmania.com.au If you're thinking of coming to Australia, make sure you put Tassie on your list of places to go. You won't be disappointed...
Greetings from Tasmania, Australia

Tasmania
Hallo Cathrine,
I'm a German girl.
In which city do you live in Tasmania? Tasmania
is big a country from Australia. What is the weather
there? Is it summer or winter now?
How do you heard from this forum? I'm here
to broaden my mind. I expand my knowledge of English.
Would you like to improve you German skills? Would you
like to get to know other people from all over the world.
