Hey, kleine

I’m so sorry to feel the sadness between your lines. Hopefully you feel better again soon. Of course I cross my fingers that you may find a cute boy for having a good time. If not, don’t worry: Spring is coming soon and will make all things new. :spin:

I tried to imagine your situation – the come and go in your life and always leaving some friends behind, you won’t see for a long time. It’s not that easy for me as I never left my hometown except for holidays, though I sometimes thought I should in order to see and experience something new.
But Dresden is a nice and interesting city with lots of cultural offers and with a wonderful surrounding. Last but not least I have my daughters here as well as a good job.

Nevertheless I can understand you a bit. My partner lives in Southern Germany and since we met 5 years ago, we visit each other bi-weekly on the weekends. Sometimes time flies but other time two weeks seems to be much longer than 14 days only. And whenever I’m there – in the meantime it’s my second home – it feels so bad to leave. One can’t get used to. But - no idea, if you can agree – in my opinion it makes stronger to overcome such situations. And longing for somebody is a good feeling, isn’t it?

Now let me call it a day, I'm looking forward to your news …

Bye, bye :bye:

P.S. If you ever think I wrote something in an uncommon or wrong way, please tell me …

Hey raincat,

How are you? I'm fine. Thank you for your sympathy
I'm feeling better, and recently I've spoken to my friend. She is good and very happy to be home, and that's the main thing. Among other things I went to a pub with some friends to cheer myself up. And it helped very well. We had so much fun in the pub, we left at three in the morning. I danced, fooled around, and had a nice chat with a boy . But just for fun, nothing serious . Oh I didn't know that your boyfriend lives in another town. May I ask why you do not live together? I'm a little curious. You are right, longing for somebody is a good feeling, then you always have something to look forward to :wink1:. I'm so looking forward to spring, and it's almost here. It was warm last morning, altough I can't complain the winter here is very nice. But my hostfamily told me it's uncommon. We haven't had much snow, and the sun is always shining. It's very nice. Today it's a very sunny day as well, and I've just come back from my walk. I'm trying to go outside everyday to get some fresh air in my body. At least once a day. Because it's so unhealthy to sit in the house every day. Back home I actually play soccer, but I can't afford it here, it's too expensive. So I'm a little out of shape, and I need to go back on track, since I go home in November and I'm planing to play soccer again. Yeah the kids are coming home right now. Got to go. Have a nice day though. And take it easy.

Hope to hear from you

:bye1:

Hi, Kleine :)

I'm sorry for the long break but I had quite strenous working days last week. There was a business meeting of my company taking place on Friday and Saturday and I've been responsible for all the organisational things. Now I'm very glad as all went fine and all our guests were completely satisfied with our event when they leaved Dresden yesterday. Simply feels good to succeed. :D

Living together with my partner is not an issue at present for some reasons: The jobs we have and we like, my daughters here and his 85 years old father there, our circles of friends and so on. Another reason is avoiding the daily routine ... frankly speaking I love the privacy of my own home. And so he does. I think there are several possible drafts how to live together at my age. All in all it's a situation we both can live with and we even enjoy very often. I got to know a lot of Southern Germany incl. Stuttgart, Ulm, Baden-Baden, the area around the lake of Konstanz, Heidelberg and much more. He got to know Eastern Germany during the last years. For me I can say it's widen my horizon. And except some unpleasant moments when saying good bye it's ok for the both of us. :)

I was that surprised when I read that you play soccer! :o Did you train in a soccer team originally? And will you continue when you return to Munich? What's your place in the team? Now I'm curious ... :spin: I do a little TaeBo, a little power training, a little gymnastics by myself regularly.

I'm looking forward to spring, too in the meantime. Here is still winter and it's even expected to stay winter during next week(s). Right now it's about - 4 degrees and snow was falling all the day ... Nevertheless I enjoyed fine winter walk today - it's all so clean and silent and idyllic and the kids had a lot of fun with their sleighs!

Have a nice day, have a nice start into your week ... till we read each other again! :wink2:
