The article "Schoolgirl who put her faith before her education" written by Steven Morris in 2004 deals with a Muslim teenage girl named "S‘‘, who refused to go to school for months because of her clothes.

the life of a muslim girl named „s‘‘ has changed since she began to deal more intensively with her religion in the summer of 2002 and entered the classroom with a jilbab on the first day of the new school year. The girl was asked by the teachers to go home and change because of her jilbab. The girl did not accept this and drove home without returning and stayed at home for several months during this time the girl suffered from existential fears. On the one hand, her english became worse because only bangladesh is spoken at home and, on the other hand, she was very afraid of her education and losing the future because she was not officially excluded from school but went home herself and therefore has no right to a state-paid tutor. When she was at home, she told her parents about the whole situation, of course, her parents and the lawyers that she called on stood behind her and also called the school to the point and tried to find a solution, but this was unsuccessful and it happened a dispute because of the big difference of opinion between the school and the lawyers and parents of s.Then the school mentioned that they had already dealt with islamic origins and that their uniform complied with the dress code.Through all the discussions and disputes there was no solution because the lawyers and s and s parents do not understand the statements from the schools and claim that their behavior excludes s just because she wears a jilbab. If it continues like this, there is a risk that it will attract an established extremist element in Luton.
