Wann sagt man denn "reason" und wann "cause".
Oder spielt das keine grosse Rolle ?

Cause verwendet man:

1. wenn man den Grund fuer eine Sache, ein Vorkommnis, ein Geschehen beschreibt: What was the cause for the fight? Smoking is the number one cause for lung cancer.
2. wenn man einen Grund, eine Sache unterstuetzt: He fought for the cause of justice. 

Reason verwendet man:

1. fuer Motive und Begruendungen: Did you have a reason to shout? What is the reason for this argument?
