Aufgabe B Put the following sentences into the passive.
1. They are offering guided tours around the city at reduced prices today.
Today guided tours are offered around the city at reduced prices

2. You must not leave baggage unattended.
Baggage must not left unattended.
3. Someone has stolen Katrin’s handbag.
Katrin´s handbag was stolen by someone

4. They built this church in 1648.
This church was build in 1648.

5. You can buy tickets for the trip when you get on the bus.
When you got on the bus, tickets could bought for the trip.

6. We should do more to save our old buildings.
Our buildings should more saved by us.

7. Angela will send the programmes when the printers have printed them.
The programms will be send by Angela when the printers had printed them.

8. They were preparing dinner when I arrived.
When I arrived dinner were prepared by them.

9. Visitors should not park their cars in the spaces for disabled people.
The cars should not parked by visitors in the spaces for disabled people.

10. Katrin said that Michael had found her handbag behind a chair in the living-room.
The handbag was found by Michael behind a chair in the living-room Katrin said.
Or
Katrins handbag was found by Michael behind a chair in the living-room

Aufgabe B Put the following sentences into the passive.
1. They are offering guided tours around the city at reduced prices today.

2. You must not leave baggage unattended.
Baggage must not be left unattended. Form von "be" vergessen...
3. Someone has stolen Katrin’s handbag.
Katrin´s handbag has been stolen by someone Zeitform beachten und übernehmen.

4. They built this church in 1648.
This church was built in 1648. 3.

5. You can buy tickets for the trip when you get on the bus.
*When you got on the bus, tickets could bought for the trip.
Tickets for the trip can be bought when you get on the bus.

6. We should do more to save our old buildings.
*Our buildings should more saved by us.
More should be done to save our old buildings.

7. Angela will send the programmes when the printers have printed them.
The programmes will be sent (by Angela) when the printers have printed them.

8. They were preparing dinner when I arrived.
*When I arrived dinner were prepared by them. Leider nicht :( .

3. Das Prädikat ist im Aktivsatz were preparing. Das ist ein Past Progressive, das sich im Aktivsatz auf "they" bezieht, also im Plural were steht. Im Passivsatz bezieht es sich aber auf das Subjekt "dinner" und muss deshalb im Singular was stehen: Dinner was
Stammform gefolgt wird: Dinner was being prepared (by them) when I arrived.

9. Visitors should not park their cars in the spaces for disabled people.

Visitors' cars should not be!!!!! parked by visitors in the spaces for disabled people. Denke an die Form von "be"!!!!!

10. Katrin said that Michael had found her handbag behind a chair in the living-room.
The handbag had been found by Michael behind a chair in the living-room, Katrin said.
Or
Katrin's handbag had been found by Michael behind a chair in the living-room Leider ist in beiden Vorschlägen die Zeitform nicht übernommen worden: das Past Perfect.

Liebe Grüße und schönen Sonntag noch
